On the directions of Minister for Communications IG, NHMP Khalid Mahmood, visited flood relief camp West Zone Quetta.
The Motorway Police is taking all possible measures to ensure the free flow of traffic on the national highways, including full support to the flood-affected people. On this occasion IG Khalid Mahmood distributed ration to the flood victims in the flood relief camp set up for flood victims in Quetta Beat 14.
IG Khalid Mahmood said that on the directions of Federal Minister of Communications Asad Mahmood the Motorway Police established relief camps and health canters in various flood-affected areas. Food and drink items are being distributed to the flood victims. He further said that serving the people is our main motto.
Millions of people have been affected by the recent heavy rains and floods. The National Highways and Motorway Police is playing a vital role in providing all possible and timely help to the flood victims in this hour of difficulty. Khalid Mehmood instructed DIG West Zone Javed Ali Mehr to continue the relief work till the rehabilitation of the victims.
