Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi chaired a meeting to review training, patrolling and public awareness mechanisms of Islamabad Police.
An official told APP on Tuesday that Director Special Initiatives Shams-ul-Haq Durrani, SP Capital Patrol Owais Ali Khan and Director ITP FM 92.4 Ayesha Jamil attended the meeting.
IGP Rizvi reviewed administrative and training affairs of Capital Police College, performance of the patrolling system and outreach role of ITP FM 92.4.
Rizvi issued directions to further improve patrolling to make it more effective and responsive.
IGP Rizvi also emphasized enhancing public awareness and promoting citizen-friendly policing through modern communication platforms.
The official said the participants discussed ways to strengthen coordination and improve service delivery.
