Suspension of sentence petitions
ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has declared maintainable petitions filed by Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha seeking court’s order for suspension of their sentence. Justice Azam Khan issued reserved judgment. The court rejected the prosecution miscellaneous petition regarding objections on maintainability of the petition. It is pertinent to mention here the court had reserved judgment in regard to prosecution miscellaneous petition a day before after hearing arguments of the respondents. Prosecution had raised objection over pre-mature filing of petition by Imaan Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha. The court adjourned hearing of petitions related to suspension of the sentence for indefinite period. ONLINE
