Contempt of court to arrest of Shehryar
ISLAMABAD: During the hearing of contempt of court case related to arrest of PTI leader Shehryar Afridi , Islamabad High Court (IHC) has directed to file record of MPO orders issued from May to September in court. The contempt of court case against Deputy Commissioner (DC) Islamabad and SSP Jamil Zafar came up for hearing before single bench of IHC led by Justice Babar Sattar Wednesday. The record of three police stations was presented in the court during the hearing of the case. Bushra Qamar counsel for SP Farooq Buttar told the court record has not been provided to them. Court should write in the order on my behalf that record was not provided to us. Justice Babar Sattar remarked record has been provided to us today too. It will be provided to you too. Prosecutor Qaisar Imam requested the court to give him 10 minutes so that he may see record once. The court while accepting plea announced 10 minutes interval in the hearing.
