Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered to remove name of Shahzad Akbar and Shahbaz Gill from Stop list forthwith.
The case came up for hearing before Chief Justice (CJ) IHC Athar Minallah on Wednesday.
The court inquired from FIA under whose order name of Shahzad Akbar and Shahbaz Gill was put in stop list when there was no government in place.
FIA personnel could not satisfy the court.
Upon it the court ordered FIA to remove the name of Shahzad Akbar and Shahbaz Gill forthwith stopping the FIA from subjecting these two to harassment of any type.
Shahzad Akbar and Shahbaz Gill had challenged FIA step for putting their name in stop list in high court.
They had taken plea in their petitions that no case has been registered against them therefore, the ban imposed on them for going abroad be lifted.
IHC heard the petitions of PTI leaders.
The court had inquired that the authorized officer be appointed who should clarify at whose behest the name were put in watch list.
The court had suspended the order of placing the name in stop list after brief hearing.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till Monday.
