ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered to remove name of u-tuber Rajab Butt from Passport Control List (PCL) immediately. While announcing reserved decision Justice Azam Khan has issued 6-page written order. It has been said in the decision maintaining name of Rajab Butt in PCL is illegal , unnecessary and against his basic rights. Barrister Zahid Khokhar appeared in the court on behalf of Rajab Butt during the hearing of the case. It was told during court’s proceedings that name of Rajab Butt was placed in PCL at the request of National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency. However Deputy Attorney General (DAG) informed the court NCCIA authorities have no objection on removal of name of Rajab Butt from PCL . The court made it clear in its decision that as Rajab Butt has appeared before the respective institution therefore, there is no legal justification of keeping his name in PCL.
