ISLAMABAD : Islamabad High Court (IHC) while issuing notice to SP Complaint and SHO on the petition filed by US blogger Cynthia Ritchie seeking registration of case against senator Rehman Malik has sought reply from them.
Imran Feeroz counsel for Cynthia Ritchie appeared in the court Monday.
Chief Justice IHC Athar Minallah inquired Supreme Court (SC) has given what decision in this regard.
Defense counsel Imran Feroz told the court he would file the copy of SC Verdict on next hearing.
The court was told through the petition Rehman Malik committed heinous offence but no action was taken against him. The subordinate court did not keep in view the important legal points while rejecting petition. The subordinate court’s October 01 decision be nullified. SP complaint be ordered to register case against Rehman Malik.
The court while issuing notices to the respondents adjourned the hearing of the case till October 23.
