The petitioner Sami Ibrahim has requested Islamabad High Court (IHC) that he wants to withdraw his petition seeking disqualification of Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry.
The decision on the plea of withdrawing case by the petitioner against Fawad Chaudhry seeking his disqualification will be given on next hearing.
The case came up for hearing before single bench of IHC led by Chief Justice (CJ) Athar Minallah Thursday.
The petitioner requested the court he wants to with draw his petition.
The court inquired why he wants to withdraw his petition.
The defence counsel told the court “ I have been given directives and the petitioner has gone to Lahore.
Deputy Attorney General (DAG) told the court he has no objection if petitioner wants to withdraw his petition.
