ISLAMABAD, JUNE 22 (ONLINE): Islamabad High Court (IHC) has summoned details of the cases registered against former federal minister Sheikh Rashid .
The court while issuing notice to IG Islamabad and SHO Kohsar police sought reply till June 27.
The petition filed by Sheikh Rashid came up for hearing before single bench of IHC led by Justice Tariq Mehmood Jahangiri Thursday.
Sardar Abdul Razzaq advocate counsel for Sheikh Rashid appeared in the court.
He argued the servants were subjected to torture during raid on Sheikh Rashid home. Police took away two vehicles from Sheikh Rashid home during the raid.
Sheikh Rashid requested the court through his petition to provide him details of the cases registered against him. Protective bail be approved and orders be issued for registration of cases against police men involved in raid on his home.
After hearing the arguments of counsel for Sheikh Rashid , the court issued notice to IG Police Islamabad and SHO Kohsar police station and sought details of cases against Sheikh Rashid and police raid on his home.
