Federal Minister for Planning Ahsan Iqbal said Tuesday entitled former Prime Minister Imran Khan as ‘Hitler’s student’ who wants to pressurize institutions to get some relief in corruption cases against him.
“Hopefully our institutions will not be blackmailed by anyone,” Iqbal hoped, adding that former premier Imran Khan’s government had not taken a single step towards betterment and development of people.
Talking to reporters after his appearance before Islamabad’s accountability court in Narowal Sports City reference against him, the federal minister said Imran Khan worked as Pakistan’s most ‘powerful’ prime minister in past four years.
“Imran had silenced media and his critics through draconian tactics. He put his opposition behind bars. No dictator could do such [draconian] acts,” Iqbal mentioned.
