PTI Chairman and former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s nomination papers from NA-22 Mardan were accepted by the returning officer Friday, it emerged.
The district returning officer rejected objection of a citizen on the nomination papers of former Prime Minister.
It must be recalled that Ali Haidar Joshi, from Shergarh, earlier submitted an application for petition in the returning officer NA-22 office on Thursday, challenging former premier’s nomination papers.
Filed under section 62 of the election Act 2017, the objection Imran Khan did not submit the details of Toshakhana gifts and foreign founding case.
The objections were subsequently rejected by the returning officer Friday.
