Illegal transfer of 190 million pounds case: NAB rejects Imran Khan reply

ISLAMABAD : NAB has rejected Imran Khan reply in case of illegal transfer of 190 million pounds from UK.

NAB said Imran Khan reply is false and baseless and he is deliberately escaping from NAB investigation.

Demanding inquiry report and not appearing is a bid to impede investigation process.

Sources said Islamabad High Court (IHC) has ordered Imran Khan to join investigations. But he did not appear.

There will be dire consequences if Imran Khan does not appear in investigation, NAB said.

NAB has sought details of Imran Khan assets through his new notice. Imran Khan has been directed to provide details of all moveable and immoveable property. The details of assets of wife, children and dependents has also been sought. The details of transactions with wife, children and families has also been summoned.
NAB said that Imran Khan assets related to period after 1992 will be reviewed fully.

Imran Khan has been directed to appear before combined investigation team in NAB office on May 23.
