Imam Kaaba meets Caretaker PM Anwarul Haque Kakar

Caretaker Prime Minister (PM) Anwarul Haque Kakar met with Imam Kaaba Professor Dr. Sheikh Saleh Bin Abdullah Bin Humaid on Friday.
The meeting was attended by caretaker ministers Aneeq Ahmed, Madad Ali Sindhi, Special Representative of the Prime Minister Maulana Tahir Ashrafi, relevant senior officials and Saudi Arabia’s ambassador to Pakistan, Nawaf Bin Syed Al Maliki.
In the meeting, the caretaker prime minister said that Pakistan and Saudi Arabia have historical and long-standing brotherly relations which are based on strong foundations of common faith, values and culture.
Saudi Arabia has helped Pakistan in every difficult time.
PM expressed his gratitude for the Saudi cooperation for the development of education and health sector in Pakistan.
The care of the Pakistani workforce working in Saudi Arabia by the Saudi government is exemplary, he added.
Prime Minister further said Custodians of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia have recently given a clear message to the world of the Muslim Ummah’s unconditional support for the Palestinians by holding an Islamic summit on the situation in Gaza.
In the meeting, the Prime Minister strongly condemned the ongoing atrocities on Palestinians and the massacre of children in Gaza.
PM expressed full solidarity with the Palestinians and demanded an immediate ceasefire in Gaza.
He also emphasized on the immediate establishment of a corridor to deliver relief goods to Gaza.
Prime Minister said that the establishment of a news agency on the platform of Islamic Cooperation Organization is welcome.
Teaching the young generation about our glorious past through documentaries on Islamic history and culture is an important need of the hour to combat Islam and phobia.
Prime Minister emphasized that documentaries on Islamic teachings, history and traditions should be broadcast in different languages to help convey the correct context of Islam to people in every corner of the world.
Imam-e-Kaaba appreciated the important role of Pakistani manpower in the development and prosperity of Saudi Arabia, and described the long-standing brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia as exemplary.
Imam Kaaba emphasized on training the new generation according to Islamic values. Imam Kaaba thanked Pakistan for its excellent hospitality during his visit.
