IMF demands tax plan for Real Estate, agri sector

Along with the approval of $3 billion dollar loan International Monitory Fund (IMF) also presented two more demands for the second review.
According to media reports IMF demand tax plan for real estate and agriculture tax from Pakistan’s government.
According to sources IMF said Pakistan has the capability to increase its collection from Property and agriculture sector.
According to sources If IMF approves FBR (Federal Board of Revenue) plan then mini-budget can be presented however fate of tax on property and agriculture sector will be decided by the new government.
Sources further told that support will be taken from International Bank for taxing agriculture and property sector.
On the other side IMF said Pakistan will spend its 30billion pkr on climate change, Agriculture and Food Security. According to IMF Pakistan is facing so many natural calamities.
Further IMF told that government of Pakistan is working on action plan. Under that action plan Pakistan will take assistance from United Nation and gave safety to those sectors which are weak to possible natural calamities.
