PTI chairman Imran Khan while contradicting the reports about his differences with president Arif Alvi has said there is no way out except election.
“We have extended invitation for talks for the sake of country. Decide it either the country has to run under constitution or it will be run by dint of club by you, he said this while talking to media men here Wednesday.
Responding to a question by a journalist does President Arif Alvi not give reply to your questions., has Arif Alvi taken you into confidence on signing the law, Imran Khan said no, no it is all wrong. there is no difference. Had Arif Alvi not signed even then it would have become law.
He remarked government and establishment is one thing. Establishment is running the government. There is no way out except election at present. There are desires that election should be held when PTI is crushed.
He went on to say “ offer for talks was extended to mitigate economic crisis. National economy is becoming devastated. We talked to Gen (Retd) Bajwa about election. When you cannot play match then endeavor is made like this to knock out.
He observed “ I was cooperating with the investigation teams earlier too in all cases. Still I am cooperating in investigations.
He claimed there is a bid to keep out PTI from election by proving it terrorist party. The negotiating team was formed and our talks were going on continuously. Chief Justice too said hold the talks.
Political parties never go back from the dialogue. PTI people are being blackmailed in every way.
It is pertinent to mention here that Imran Khan has suspended connections with president Arif Alvi due to estrangement. The two leaders had made last contact one week back. Imran Khan is not giving reply to the messages of president Arif Alvi.
President Arif Alvi had discussed the matter of quitting party by PTI leaders after May 09 incidents and had advised him to adopt defensive strategy in the prevailing situation.
