Humiliation
LAHORE
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has accused the PDM government of arresting him again, expressing apprehensions that they will “use some sedition law to keep me inside for next ten years under the London Plan.”
Imran took to twitter on Monday to reveal the “London plan” to remove him from political scene. “So now the complete London plan is out. Using pretext of violence while I was inside the jail, they have assumed the role of judge, jury and executioner,” he wrote in a series of tweets.
“The Plan now is to humiliate me by putting Bushra begum in jail, and using some sedition law to keep me inside for next ten years.” The former prime minister was arrested by Rangers last week and handed over to the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) after which the PTI workers resorted to violence attacking government and military installations.
Later, the Supreme Court ordered his release, terming the arrest as illegal. The government slammed that decision, and the ruling PDM had announced staging a protest sit-in outside the Supreme Court against CJP Umar Ata Bandial for the judiciary’s “undue facilitation” of Khan.
Terming it a “drama”, Imran wrote: “The JUI-F drama being done outside the SC is only for one purpose, to overawe the Chief Justice of Pakistan so that he doesn’t give a verdict according to the Constitution.”
