PTI chairman Imran Khan has expressed desire to meet military leadership and he has given task in this regard to president Arif Alvi to arrange this meeting in Aiwan-e-Sadr.
According to well informed sources PTI chairman is desirous of holding meeting with the new military leadership over the prevailing political and economic situation of the country.
He wants to place his stance before them. He has got the services of president Arif Alvi in this regard.
The sources told Online Aiwan-e-Sadr had contacted military leadership on this desire of Imran Khan. But there is still silence from their side.
Sources said the Incumbent military leadership is pursuing its narrative and unequivocal decision of keeping itself and army fully apolitical. For this reason they have not given any reply to Awan-e-Sadr on this matter.
Sources said the Prime Minister will be taken into confidence before any such meeting.
Sources disclosed this meeting seems to be difficult in the perspective of army decision of staying apolitical.
Despite it President Arif Alvi is trying that relations between Imran Khan and establishment should improve. He is making efforts on his own in this regard but so far he has not achieved any success in his efforts.
