Governor Punjab Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar has said Imran Khan as Prime Minister (PM) will complete even last day of his constitutional tenure and elections will not take place before 2023 in the country.
He said this on the occasion of breakfast hosted for party workers from Multan here.
The breakfast was attended by provincial ministers Dr Akhtar Malik, Hasnain Jahanian Gardezi and over two thousands party workers.
Governor Punjab said on the occasion that no one can hold larger public meeting than PTI still. The party workers should get united and support party candidates in local bodies election.
When all contest election unitedly then PTI will surely win the local bodies election, he stressed.
Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan had said in categorical terms that party ticket will be awarded on merit in LB polls, he indicated.
The projects like Sehat Card and Ehsas program launched by government are people friendly projects, he underlined.
PM Imran Khan has always pursued ideological politics based on principles and he believes in rule of law in the country, he remarked.
People have given mandate of five years to Imran Khan to rule the country, he underlined. Imran Khan as PM and PTI as party will complete its five years constitutional tenure. All are acknowledging the steps taken by the government for socio economic development of the country, he added.
