ISLAMABAD: Former prime minister and PTI Chairman Imran Khan, who had been sentenced to three years behind bars in the Toshakhana reference on August 5, 2023, has his prison term commuted by six months. During the hearing of Imran’s appeal against his conviction in the Islamabad High Court (IHC), his lawyer Latif Khosa told Chief Justice (CJ) Justice Aamer Farooq that President Dr. Arif Alvi had commuted prisoners’ sentence on August 14 by six months.
