Imran’s disqualification plea to be heard by PHC today

PESHAWAR: The Peshawar High Court (PHC) has set a plea seeking former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s disqualification for hearing today (Monday). PHC’s Justice Aijaz Anwar will hear the plea. Citizen Ali Haider, through his petition has claimed that former Prime Minister did not show-up the actual price of gifts taken through Toshakhana and its tax returns. Imran also didn’t mention the land in Jehlum acquired for Al-qadar Trust, despite being a member of the trust, the plea claims. Moreover, the citizen has pled before the court that many cases are pending on PTI Chairman since 2014, while alleged foreign funding has proved that he doesn’t qualify to be the member of parliament under articles 62-63 of the constitution.
