LAHORE: In response to the increasing cases of conjunctivitis, the Punjab Education Department issued a province-wide alert for schools. The Department has sent a letter to the education authorities of all districts, instructing them to introduce a special period in schools to educate children about the disease. Furthermore, the department urged schools to comply with the guidelines provided by the Health Department to prevent the spread of conjunctivitis and to educate students about preventive measures.
