Electricity theft is destabilizing the country’s economy and institutions, and in this regard, indiscriminate operations against electricity thieves and their facilitators are in full swing in all operation circles of IESCO. During the month of December 2022, IESCO Operation, and surveillance teams caught 3670 meters during checking out of which 3635 meters were found slow, 28 meters were taking direct power supply while 7 meters were tampered.
