Industrialists Association Peshawar (IAP) strongly rebuffed the allegations and propaganda that were leveled against head of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Economic Zones Development and Management Company (KPEZDMC), calling them ‘untruthful’, and frivolous, and based on ‘falsehoods’.
The association said services of CEO KPEZDMC Javed Khattak for industrialization and facilitating business community is highly praiseworthy and visible before everyone.
Javed Khattak was always available for the business community and always played a pivotal role in resolution of their problems, it added.
These remarks made by the IAP president Malik Imran Ishaq while chairing a meeting of industrialists here at the association office, said in a press release on Saturday.
Imran Ishaq came down hard on the provincial caretaker government and minister for industries, according to him, they have created problems for CEO Javed Khattak by using an ‘illegitimate’ and ‘unfair’ means.
He said the superior court has set aside the allegations leveled against CEO KPEZDMC and proved them frivolous and baseless in its verdict.
The IAP president congratulated the CEO KPEZDMC over a court verdict in his favour, which was completely rightful and based on merit.
Malik Imran heaped praise on CEO Javed Khattak, saying the KPEZDMC head has played an important role in setting up new special economic zones and promotion of industrialisation, trade and economic activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He alleged the incumbent interim minister for industries, commerce and technical education for misusing authorities and made attempts to create hurdles in the process of industrialisation in the province, but he (interim minister) miserably failed in his intentions and plan.
The IAP chief said the interim minister has kept themselves away from the Industrialists Association Peshawar, Chambers and business community of the province and is only proactive in dissolving boards for fulfilling his own objectives, desires and wishes, which is highly regrettable and condemnable.
Malik Imran fully assured the support and cooperation on behalf of the association, industrialists and business community to CEO KPEZDMC. He felicitated Mr Javed Khattak after court verdict in favour and on merit.
The association president said the move of the provincial caretaker government, interim minister, against CEO KPEZDMC was completely unfair. He said the industrialists strongly condemn the attitude of the caretaker government and minister.
He continued to say that extension was given to Mr Khattak as CEO KPEZDMC by following merit and rules. He said Mr Khattak has built up a strong coordination with industrialists, business community, senior officials and other bureaucrats.
Group Leader Ghazanfar Bilour on the occasion strongly denounced the incumbent provincial caretaker government for leveling baseless allegations against CEO KPEZDMC and extended his full support and cooperation to Mr Javed Khattak on behalf of the IAP, Chambers and the entire business community.
