Peshawar
The third round of the provincial round of the Inter-Regional Colleges Cricket Tournament organized by the Directorate of Sports Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has begun in Peshawar.
On first day, D. I Khan and Peshawar teams won the matches. The opening ceremony was held at Hayatabad Sports Complex, Peshawar. On this occasion, Deputy Director Operations Jamshed Baloch was the chief guest.
The first match was played between Hazara and DI Khan, in which Hazara team scored 137 runs in the allotted twenty overs while batting first. In reply, DI Khan team achieved the target in 16.5 overs for the loss of six wickets.
The second match was played between Peshawar and Bannu teams at Shama Cricket Ground, in which Peshawar defeated Bannu by 46 runs.
Peshawar scored 166 runs for the loss of five wickets while batting first. In reply, was bowled out for 120 runs. Kamran took four wickets for twenty-six runs and won the Man of the Match award.
