Information minister Fawad Chaudhry has said Islam teaches us lesson of peace and interfaith harmony is inevitable for peaceful world.
“ Every thing is presented in distorted form in politics. Rejecting the extremism in the name of religion is our obligation. Ulema should play their role at country level in this regard”, he said this while addressing international interfaith peace conference here Wednesday.
This impression is wrong that Islam spread by dint of force, he remarked.
He underlined government raised voice at international level with reference to islamophobia.
There should be no politics in the name of Islam and Holy Prophet (SAW), he stressed.
