IPP gains more support from former PTI members

LAHORE: The Istehkam Pakistan Party (IPP) has dealt another blow to the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party by securing the support of three former members of the parliament. Jahangir Tareen, the leader of IPP, met with ex-MNA Sardar Zulfikar Dulla, ex-MNA Ghulam Muhammad Lali and former provincial minister Colonel Retired Mohammad Anwar at his residence in Lahore. The meeting was also attended by other IPP leaders such as Ghulam Sarwar Khan, Ishaq Khakwani, Aun Chaudhry and Saeed Akbar Nawani. The three former PTI members expressed their confidence in Jahangir Tareen and his vision for the country and decided to join IPP. They will formally announce their decision in a press conference in the coming days.
