ISLAMABAD: Iran’s Interior Minister Dr. Ahmad Vahidi will land in Islamabad today (Monday) on one-day trip to discuss important affairs such as Pak-Iran border management and exchange of captives, the spokesperson of Pakistan’s Interior Ministry said. Vahidi will meet Pakistan’s top leadership, including the President, Prime Minister and Chief of Army Staff (COAS). Media reports revealed Saturday that Iranian minister will be visiting Pakistan at the invitation of his Pakistani counterpart Sheikh Rashid Ahmed. Rashid will receive his Iranian counterpart at Islamabad’s Noor Khan Airbase. Spokesperson of Pakistan’s interior ministry said that Vahidi will meet Sheikh Rashid Ahmed along with his delegation.
