UNSC debate
ISLAMABAD
Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar arrived in New York for an official visit from 26-28 May to participate in UNSC open debate .
He will attend high-level UNSC Open Debate on “Maintenance of International Peace and Security: Upholding the Purposes and Principles of the UN Charter and Strengthening the UN-centered International System”.
This debate is being convened under China’s Presidency of the UN Security Council.
He will also hold bilateral meetings with his counterparts, as well as senior UN officials.
He will also attend meeting of Group of Friends on Global Governance on May 28.
