ISLAMABAD, July 24 : State minister for petroleum Musadik Malik has said finance minister Ishaq Dar is capable for whatever responsibility is assigned to him.
“leader of the house will talk to all political parties in connection with caretaker Prime Minister (PM). Ishaq Dar has moved ahead taking along all the matters in good way. Whatever responsibility is given to Ishaq Dar, he will discharge it befittingly, he said this while talking to private TV channel here Monday.
He went on to say no one can comment on political maneuvering at present.
Objections were raised on new population census and it took several months in removing them. If new population census is notified then according to it the election should be held within 4 to 6 months, he said adding government is of the view the election should be held on old population census.
Government is of the view election should be held on delimitation of constituencies, he remarked. The process of new delimitation of constituencies will require 4 to 6 months. PML-N holds the stance for holding election on old delimitation of constituencies.
