ISLAMABAD: Islamabad Anti-Terrorism Court granted bail to 3 minors arrested from D Chowk and orders their release. The order was issued by Anti-Terrorism Court Judge, Abul Hasanat Zulqarnain on Friday during the hearing of the bail application of 3 minors arrested from D Chowk. The lawyer of the petitioner, 14-year-old Siam, took the position that the child came to Islamabad with his mother from Afghanistan on October 21 for treatment. The child was picked up from home in Shahzad Town and a case was filed at the Secretariat Police Station. The child will return to Afghanistan. The court expressed its anger over the police for not submitting the records and inquired as to when the records would be submitted. The prosecutor told the court that the police would reach in an hour and a half with the records. The court granted bail to a 14-year-old boy on a bond of Rs 10,000 and ordered his release. The bail applications of two more minors arrested from D Chowk were also granted. The children’s lawyer took the stand that the accused Samundar Khan is 16 and Shahzad Khan is 17 years old. The police picked up both the boys from their homes and filed a case at the police station secretariat. The court granted bail on a bond of Rs 10,000 and ordered his release. ONLINE
