Islamabad Traffic Police formed ITP Highway Patrol Unit.According to the details, following the special directions of Inspector General of Police (IGP) Islamabad Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi, Islamabad Traffic Police has formed an ITP Highway Patrol Unit consisting of motorcycles equipped with modern technology in the federal capital, a police public relations officer said.
He said that the ITP Highway Patrol Unit will improve the flow of traffic on the highways and also provide all possible travel facilities to the citizens.
This unit will improve traffic flow at commercial centers, educational institutions and other places during rush hours.SSP Traffic Muhammad Sarfraz Virk said that this unit will inform citizens about lane violations on highways and take legal action against citizens involved in serious violations.
He further said that according to the vision of IGP Islamabad, this unit will provide all possible travel facilities to the citizens on the roads and make their journey safe.Islamabad Police is taking measures for the convenience of citizens. Citizens are also requested to ensure compliance with traffic rules as compliance with traffic rules is the guarantee of a safe life.
