Peshawar Zalmi’s demand for home mat’ches has gained momentum, in a letter written by the franchise to PCB, it has been said that in PSL 9, the team will have the opportunity to play matches at their home ground must be fulfilled.
Franchise owner Javed Afridi said in his message on social media that enough is enough, Zalmi team’s home matches should be played in Peshawar.
It may be noted that while various matters are being finalised, including the PSL 9 schedule, Peshawar is not included in the 2 proposed schedules that PCB has sent to the franchises.
There have been talks of matches there in the past few seasons as well, but the 2017 PSL champion Peshawar Zalmi’s team has yet to get a chance to play a single match at their home ground.
