protected at every cost
ISLAMABAD
Information Minister Atta Tarar has said Pakistan right on water is irrevocable under Indus Waters Treaty (IWT) and it is jugular vein of survival of country which will be protected at every cost. In a post on social media plat form X he said abortive attempt by India to keep suspended IWT unilaterally is neither having any legal standing nor has it any moral justification. He held India had to suffer only humiliation at international level due to this step. This attitude of India is flagrant violation of US endorsed One Water, One Vision principle which emphasis on equitable and responsible use of water resources.
Pakistan will continue its all possible diplomatic and legal steps for protection of its water rights under IWT, he stated.
