Jhagra urges people to take coronavirus seriously

KP Minister for Health, Taimur Saleem Jhagra has said that coronavirus is a harsh reality and we will have to live with it and besides taking it seriously, the people will also have to adopt precautionary measures.
Talking to a delegation of traders of Hayatabad here Sunday, he said that the people should have to wear facemasks and avoid hand shake to implement the standard operating procedures (SOPs) in letter and spirit to enable the government to open businesses. He said that the closure of businesses is unbeneficial for both general public and government.
During the meeting, the delegation besides discussing problems faced by the traders due to corona pandemic also discussed other matters.
The provincial minister said that in case, they would not have observed lockdown then today the daily may have more than one hundred a day. He said that they thinking of bringing further relaxation in lockdown, but in this connection they required cooperation of the people. He said that if no more burdens come on hospitals then they will relax the lockdown further.
He assured the traders that he will hold meeting with district administration to discuss their problems with them to resolve them as soon as possible.
The health minister further assured the delegation he will also soon hold meeting with the Director General (DG) Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) over the problems of the rents of shops and water problem.
He also expressed the resolve and ruled out any compromise on cleanliness in Hayatabad. He said that security problem in Hayatabad will also be discussed with police.
