Jafarabad: Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Chief Siraj-ul-Haq said Friday his party is struggling for implementation of ‘Islamic system’ adding that it was government’s duty to implement initiatives of social welfare and to provide jobs. “Social welfare and uplift of poor are the prime responsibilities of government but unfortunately [our] government is busy distributing plots to retired generals and judges” Siraj said, while addressing a ceremony at ‘Abdul Majeed Housing Society’ to distribute 400 plots among homeless people. “Jamat-e-Islami is running social welfare projects even without coming to power. Billions of youth are jobless. Our party is assisting more than 2000 Baloch students with fully funded scholarships. ONLINE
