Under the banner of Jamat-e-Islami(JI)Khyber,Palestanians solidarity rally was held here Bara Bazaar on Sunday.
Led by naib ameer JI, Khyber Shah Faisal Afridi and Qazi Momin Afridi, scores of the party volunteers’ local traders and shopkeepers participated in the protest demonstration.
Addressing on the occasion Shah Faisal Afridi,Qazi Momin Afridi and others genocides of the innocent Palestinians’ was in progress however silence kept by the so called civilized world was injustice to them.
“Raising our voices for Palestinians is the responsibility of Muslims and a part of their faith,” they added.
Gaza which was the home of 2.3 million Palestinians’ had been put under siege and air strikes of occupied Israeli forces were continued round the clock that put a question mark on the efficiency of the United Nation, they remarked.
They criticized the US and European countries for supporting Israel in its oppression of Palestinians and demanded that Muslim countries should come together for the Palestinian cause.
The participants urged for an immediate ceasefire and let permit the welfare organization to supply food, water and medicines to the occupied Palestinians in Gaza.
The protesters carried banners that said “Gaza, we are with you”.
It is stated here that so far more than 1500 Palestinians have been killed in rent clashes and air strikes.
