PESHAWAR: Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Youth Wing has expressed serious concerned over the prolonged outages and threatened to start protest demonstration on Ring Road, blocking it for traffic,if loadshedding is not stopped within a week. According a statement issued here on Wednesday, the residents of Umar Gul Road, Garhi Sikandar Khan, Landi Arbab have been subjected to prolonged loadshedding in scorching heat of summer. The Provincial Information Secretary Mushtaq Khalil said that despite timely payment of bills, domestic and commercial consumers are facing severe problems due to unscheduled load shedding of electricity. With the increase in the intensity of heat, electricity load shedding has started. If unannounced load shedding is not stopped, responsibility will be on Pesco administration, he added.
