JIT to probe elements involved in violence during Feb 8 polls: Bilawal


Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari announced that a thorough probe will be held against those elements who were involved in violence during the February 8 nationwide elections.
“Probe will be held into incidents of violence and firing during polls […] Joint Investigation Team will investigate and penalise accused,” said Bilawal. The PPP chairman held a press conference in in Karachi’s Orangi Town while visiting a party loyalist Abdul Rehman’s house who had allegedly been killed in election violence.
“We will not tolerate any kind of religious, ethnic, and sectarian terrorism in the city and the province,” the politico said, adding: “Those who are levelling fake allegations and staging political dramas cannot blackmail us.”
