PESHAWAR
Amun Taraqqi Party (ATP) chairman Muhammad Faiq Shah emphasised that all political stakeholders must work together for the country’s future to be prosperous.
Speaking at an online open forum and party’s corner meetings here on Saturday, Shah said Pakistan’s polarized politics needs a healing touch.
He maintained now the elite class would be the target of the common man.
The ATP chairman viewed that a single individual could not transform the country as it needed united efforts of all stakeholders to make progress.
He said people are bearing the brunt of the political ‘tug of war’ in the country.
Faiq asked rulers to shun testing the patience of inflation stricken people.
He said the people will lose their temper soon due to the situation in the country and day isn’t far away when hands of people on politician collars.
The country’s ruling elite class doesn’t seem to care much about miseries of poor masses, he added.
He blamed the coalition government for plunging into a severe political and economic chaos.
He said that Pakistan’s all institutions were progressing but now they are heading toward downfall owing to murder of merit, nepotism and corruption.
Commenting on the depressing economic conditions, Shah stated the charter of economy was the need of the hour.
The ATP chairman asserted the country’s commerce must receive urgent attention in order to boost the economy since he thought the entire world was facing inflation.
By encouraging trade, he continued, “the economy of the nation can be stabilised.”
Shah called upon the youth, competent people and intellectuals to come forward to play their central role to overcome the country from the present crisis situation.
The party chief assured his party will extend every assistance in this regard.
He recalled that ATP has already given a comprehensive roadmap to overcome the current political and economic crisis.
