KARACHI: Karachi district East court has granted bail to journalist Farhan Malik who was arrested in anti state program case. The bail plea of journalist Farhan Malik came up for hearing in district East Karachi court. The court approved bail plea of Farhan Malik against surety bonds in the sum of Rs one lac. It is pertinent to mention here FIA Cyber Crime Karachi had arrested Farhan Malik founder of Ditgital Media Platform Raftaar and former director News on March 20. Inquiry was underway against Farhan Malik since the last three months. He is charged with uploading anti state and anti institutions material. A case pertaining to alleged anti state material on his U-Tube channel was registered under PEC act and Pakistan Penal code. Later Judicial magistrate Malir on March 26 had handed over Farhan Malik to FIA on physical remand for five days in new case of fraud with foreigners allegedly through call centre. Online
