MANSEHRA, April 13 (Online): JUI-F leader Mufti Kafayat Ullah has been arrested.
According to police spokesperson case was registered against Mufti Kafayat Ullah for delivering anti state speech and he has been arrested under these charges. He was absconding since the last two months. Now he has been shifted to Mansehra Jail. He has been arrested under 3 PM0.
As per police spokesperson, federal government had decided to arrest MuftI Kafayat Ullah for giving anti state statements. Upon it police have arrested him. The scope for arresting Mufti Kafayat Ullah was extended to tribal districts for delivering speech against the army.
Decision has been taken to register case against him under article 6 and in the second phase his name will be possibly placed in ECL. Earlier Punjab, Sindh, Balochistan, Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan governments were contacted for arresting him.
