KARACHI: Body of Islamic scholar Junaid Jamshed will be hand over to heirs today as it has been identified through his facial X-ray.
His funeral prayers will be offered in Karachi on Thursday at 1 pm in Moin Khan Academy where Maulana Tariq Jameel and thousands of Junaid Jamshed’s fans will attend the prayers.
Junaid’s family is making arrangements for the funeral prayers. His grave has been prepared at Jamia Darul-Uloom Karachi (Korangi).
Junaid Jamshed and his wife were among 47 passengers and crew members who died after their flight PK661 crashed near Havelian in Abbottabad on December 7, 2016.
Body of his wife, Neha, was received by her mother at PIMS after identification. Her funeral will be offered in Lahore.
