Extracurricular activities boost students’ confidence, says JJT Director Muhammad Al-Khayyam

The Junior Jinnah Trust (JJT) Burma Town Campus organized a spectacular Annual Sports Gala on 27 November 2025, with more than 400 students participating with great enthusiasm. The event aimed to promote healthy activities, teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship among children.
JJT Director Muhammad Al-Khayyam, Head of Operations Muhammad Babar Khan, Education Manager Sharif, and other officials visited the event. Addressing the ceremony, Director Muhammad Al-Khayyam emphasized that extracurricular activities are essential for students alongside academic learning.
He stated that such activities not only support mental and physical development but also significantly enhance students’ confidence.
He further highlighted that sports and cultural events help polish students’ creative abilities while teaching them important principles of teamwork and leadership—skills that hold great value for their future.
During the Sports Gala, the JJT Head Office team also paid a special visit to the campus, reviewed the activities, and expressed satisfaction over the excellent arrangements. The team appreciated the students’ participation, discipline, and the dedicated efforts of teachers.
Activities and Competitions
Students took part in a variety of fun and healthy competitions, including races, sack race, tug of war, tag of war, musical chairs, table ball throw, sprints, and other engaging games. The outstanding performances and enthusiasm of the students won the hearts of parents, teachers, and guests.
In the end, certificates and prizes were awarded to students who showed exceptional performance.
The Annual Sports Gala 2025 proved to be a joyful, activity-filled, and motivating experience—making it a memorable day for all the children.
