Independence Day Inter-School Athletics Championship organized by Sindh Athletic Association held at NCC ,PSB Karachi Centre.
135 Schools and Colleges and more than 2000 athletes took part in U-10, U-14, U-17 and U-19 boys and girls categories.
Karachi Grammar School won both boy’s and girl’s Athletics titles.
KGS secured the first position in boys with (322 points)17 gold, 6 silver and 6 bronze medals while in the girl’s category KGS (280 points)won 15 gold, 4 silver and 9 bronze medals. CAS school stood runner-up in both categories.
Chief Guest Mayor Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab distributed certificates, medals and trophies among the winning athletes.
