Karachi Men’s and Women’s won the 9th Sindh Inter-Divisional Sepaktakraw Championship with a brilliant performance. In the first men’s semi-final played at MCB Hall, Hyderabad, Karachi beat Sukkur 2-0. In the second semi-final, Benazirabad defeated Mirpur Khas 2-1 to make it to the final. In the first women’s semi-final, Karachi defeated Benazirabad 2-0 while in the second semi-final, Mirpur Khas defeated Hyderabad 2-0.
In the men’s final, Karachi clinched the trophy by defeating Benazirabad 2-0 after an interesting contest, while in the women’s final, Karachi clinched the title by defeating Mirpur Khas 2-0. Farhan Khan of Karachi clinched the title and declared the best player of the championship.
Din Mohammad Keerio (Babar Keerio), the special guest of the closing ceremony, distributed prizes among the players.
Member Selection Committee Pakistan Sepaktakraw Arif Waheed Khan said that there is immense talent in Sindh and the purpose of our visit is to select good players for international competitions.

On the occasion, Secretary Sindh Olympic Association Ahmed Ali Rajput said that Sindh Sepaktakraw Association is a member of Sindh Olympic Association and is working hard to promote the sport of Sepaktakraw.
He said that due to the hard work of these people many players of Sindh could participate in international competitions. He said that our cooperation and guidance is with you.
President of Sindh Boxing Association Asghar Baloch said that the players should be disciplined with sports.
Khurram Rafi President Hyderabad Olympic Committee, Secretary Hyderabad Olympic Committee Pervez Ahmed Sheikh, District Sports Officer Hyderabad Makhdoom Irshad, Secretary General Pakistan Sepaktakraw Federation Noushad Ahmed Khan, President Sindh Sepaktakraw Association Shabir Ahmed, Maryam Keerio, Akhtar Ali Malik , Mohammad Khalid and others also spoke.
Later, Chairman Sindh Sepaktakraw Association Dr. Muhammad Arif Hafeez also addressed the event all the players, officials and guests and especially thanked Sindh Sepaktakraw Association Focal Person Maryam Keerio, Muhammad Khalid Organizing Secretary, Technical Officers Umar Shaheen, Shahroz Alvi and Abdul Rahim for their cooperation.
