PESHAWAR
Promising cyclist Karim Khan of Balochistan edged past fellow cyclists in the ongoing 7th National Women and Men Cycling Road Championship being played here at Northern Bypass on Saturday.
On the second day, Karim Khan, a very promising cyclist from Balochistan recorded a record time of 00:36.28.08sec by taking first position over 13.5km incircle, followed by Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Nabi Ullah with his time clock 00:38.02.39sec and Nisar Ali took third position in the Individual Junior Boys Time Trials Road Race. Usaid Ullah of KP recorded fourth position with his time 00:38.43.16sec, followed by Sindh Azan 00:39.03.79sec, Punjab Muhammad Moazzam 00:39.46.09sec, Islamabad’s Siraj Saeed 00:44.32.66sec and Shahwais of Sindh with his clock time 00:46.48.27sec.
In the U23 Men – Individual Time Trial, international cyclist Abdul Wahid of Wapda clocked 00:36.59.09sec by taking first position, followed by Ismail Anwar of Bikestan with his clock time 00:37.44.28sec and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Sanaullah with clock time 00:39.01.24sec.
The other cyclist who recorded fourth, fifth, sixth, seventh, eight, and ninth position respectively. KP Shafi Ullah with his 00:39.49.73sec took fourth position, followed by Crank Addict’s Shaan 00:40.11.99sec, Balochistan’s Shabir Hussain 00:41.22.92sec, Punjab’s Muhammad Adeel 00:41.27.67sec, Bikestan’s Ismail Mirza 00:41.35.65sec and POF Wah Khalil Ur Rehman 00:45.11.35sec.
In the Women Elite – Individual Time Trial, Bikestan’s team Rabia Garib clocked time 00:42.43.58sec took first position, followed by Wapda’s Rajjia Shabir 00:43.35.74sec, Bikestan’s Bisma Chaudhary 00:44.23.10sec, Nida BiBi of Wapda with hic clock time 00:45.02.38sec took fourth position.
The position holders’ cyclists including Crank Addicts Asma Jan clock time 00:47.50.27sec, Punjab Cecilia 00:54.00.20sec, KP Samreen Sadaf’s clocked time was 00:56.24.30, Punjab’s Samreen Aslam 00:57.42.00sec, KP Nimra Bibi’s 01:10.36.95sec and IsLamabad Usna Babar.
