PESHAWAR: Khyber Union of Journalists (KhUJ) has strongly condemned the attack on senior journalist Musratullah Jan, a free-lance journalist and senior of Peshawar Press Club (PPC). The union has condemned the attack and demanded of the provincial government to arrest the attackers. In a joint statement KhUJ President Nasir Hussain and Vice-president Abdul Baseer Qalandir and other officer bearers have called for an immediate enquiry into the incident. Qayyum came under attack when he was coming to Qayyum Sports Complex. Journalist’s community has threatened that if the accused were not arrested, the journalist community will protest strongly.
