Khyber Medical University (KMU) Peshawar held a meeting of the KMU Admissions Core Committee yesterday in the committee room of the vice chancellor secretariat regarding the schedule and registration of the KMU CAT entry test for admission in Pham-D, DPT, Nursing, and Allied Health Sciences undergraduate programs. Prof. Dr. Zia Ul Haq VC KMU chaired the meeting.
Besides VC KMU, the Convener of the admissions committee Prof Dr. Jawad Ahmad, Muhammad Arshad Khan Additional Director Admissions, Mr. Nasir Saleem Saleem Arab Additional Registrar KMU, Muhammad Sohail Khan Additional Director IT, and others were also present at the said meeting. For the guidance of the students, instructions have been issued to the heads of affiliated and constituted institutions in the meeting to guide the students and post the advertisement copy of KMU CAT registration on the notice boards of their respective institutions and to inform the students regularly for timely registration. In addition to the schedule issued by the KMU Directorate of Admission, KMU has constituent institutes as well as affiliated institutes for Doctor of Pharmacy, Doctor of Physical Therapy, BS Nursing, BS Public Health, and Allied Health Sciences programs, the last date for online registration and submission of fee for registration is July 20, 2022. The committee further decided that the appearance of the test is mandatory for students who want to seek admission in Pham-D, DPT, Nursing, Public Health, and other Allied Health Sciences programs at KMU and its affiliated institutes. No student will be eligible for admission in the said programs without appearing on the test. In order to take KMU-CAT, a registration fee of Rs. 3,000 has to be deposited in any branch of the Bank of Khyber.
