After notifying the repatriation scheme of Koki Khel Temporary Displaced Persons (TDPs) to their villages in Rajgal, Tirah Valley, residents of Jamrud concluded their agitation at Bab-e-Khyber last day.
According to the notification issued by the Deputy Commissioner, Khyber office, the second phase of safe return of the TDPs to Rajgal will begin on September16, 01, 2023 till October 30, 2023.
In the same way, the third phase of repatriation will start on May, 01, 2024 and will complete on September 30, 2024.
To avoid any inconvenience necessary arrangements will be made for the return of the TDPs, the notification stated.
Tribesmen of Koki Khel expressed their delight over the publicizing of the TDPs repatriation plan and said the government accepted their log lasting demand of safe return to their homes in Rajgal, Tirah Valley for that they had set up 33 days protest camp at Bab-e-Khyber.
It is important to say that almost 87218 TDPs will return to their home towns in the second and third phase of repatriation to Tirah Valley.
