Koral police arrested 793 outlaws including 08 gangs during the last six month involved in a series of criminal activities, a Police Public Relations Officer said.
He said that, Koral police teams also recovered looted items worth 74.7 million including gold ornaments, mobile phones, vehicles, motorcycles, drugs, liquor and weapons from their possession while six blind murder traced and killers were arrested.
According to the details, following the special directions of Inspector General of Police Islamabad Dr. Akbar Nasir Khan, CPO Operations Sohail Zafar Chatha had assigned special tasks to the zonal DPOs and Police teams to arrest those involved in heinous crime and recover the looted items.
While sharing the performance of Koral police for the last six month, DPO Rural said that the Koral police teams conducted a massive crackdown against the criminal elements and succeeded in apprehending 793 criminals during the ongoing month. Police teams also recovered gold ornaments, 16 vehicles, 55 motorbikes, 18 mobile phones, 43817 gram hashish, 1435 gram heroin, 658 gram Ice, 250 liters alcohol 517 bottles liquor, 53 pistols with ammunition and 03 dagger from their possession. While six blind murders were traced and killers arrested. 43 other hostages, including a five-year-old boy kidnapped for ransom, were rescued safely. As many as 66 beggars were arrested in a crackdown on professional beggars and their facilitators. Investigations on 1422 cases were also completed.
